The Equity Leaders: Building Inclusive Communities and Workplaces on Cape Cod is offered in partnership with the Social and Economic Justice Institute (SEJI) of the Cape and Islands.
The Equity Leaders: Building Inclusive Communities and Workplaces on Cape Cod program is designed to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to foster culturally responsive, equitable, and inclusive environments. This program is ideal for those looking to enhance inclusivity in their workplace, volunteer work, personal growth, or professional development.
Through sector-specific training, participants will explore strategies to build diverse talent pipelines, foster belonging, and implement equitable policies tailored to key industries and community spaces, including:
- Healthcare/Human Services
- Community-Based Organizations & Volunteer Initiatives
- Education (K-12 and Higher Ed)
- Municipal & Government
- Emerging & Evolving Industries (Technology, Trades, Sustainability, Blue & Creative Economy, Hospitality/Tourism, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Aviation, and more)
Participants will engage in interactive learning experiences, receive continuing education credits and digital badges, and develop action plans to create more inclusive and equitable environments across various aspects of their lives.
